NDM provides customized Allscripts MyWay training and implementations. The standard implementation cycle takes about one to three months but it all depends on how quickly the clinic completes their tasks. Our implementation team has been able to set up some doctors as quickly as seven days.

PHASE TIMELINE *
ACTIVITIES BEGIN 10 TO 14 DAYS AFTER CONTRACTS ARE SUBMITTED AND APPROVED.
WELCOME WEEK 1
  • 30 minute phone call with the Manager of Client Services to establish points of contact, review installation of remote access software, and schedule the next meeting. Online user list (completed within 2 business days by Practice Champion), and online discovery document (completed within 3 business days).

BRIDGE TO SUCCESS WEEK 1
  • 60 minute call with Office Manager, Practice champion and head physician to review the “Bridge to Success” presentation.
TRAINING TRACK WEEK 2
  • 30 minute call with Practice Champion to review online academy
  • Review methods of finding answers; including F1, user manual, and Allscripts Academy.

CONFIGURATION WEEK 3-4
  • Review Hardware install and readiness. Proceed with training after Hardware and software is in place. Practice installs MyWay on all machines.
  • 90 minute call with Practice Champion. Practice starts using MyWay. Training of areas that will need to configure in the database.

OFFICE TRAINING WEEK 4-5
  • Two office training sessions to review front office areas of MyWay through remote sessions. Start to use front office areas in practice
  • Review Allscripts Academy progress and worksheets.
BILLING TRAINING WEEK 6-9
  • Review billing areas of MyWay through remote sessions.
  • Review Allscripts Academy progress and worksheets. Start to bill through MyWay system.

CLINICAL TRAINING WEEK 6
  • Review clinical areas of MyWay through remote sessions.
  • Review Allscripts Academy progress and worksheets. Start using the MyWay clinical system.

READINESS REVIEW WEEK 10
  • Run through of all systems; including practice understanding of MyWay, hardware readiness, and workflows.
END DATE WEEK 11
  • Billing, Front-office, and Clinical portions of MyWay working
POST-LIVE SUPPORT WEEK 12-15
  • Questions may be directed to Project Manager who will assist in support resources needed.
CONTINUED SUPPORT WEEK 12+
  • Unlimited support is received through the professionals at Allscripts Support.

*Scheduling conflicts, building construction, data conversion requirements, and any delay in client responsibilities may result in a delay to the timeline.
